Pirate Radio in Lewisham

When police took down a pirate radio mast in Sydenham yesterday it triggered an interesting discussion..

Unregulated menace or cultural outlet? What are your thoughts?

My exact thoughts were that it would have been a lot easier, more secretive, reached a wider audience and probably been no more expensive for them to have streamed it rather than broadcast it.

Who remembers Upfront? 99.3 FM!!

There’s something special about the radio. Less choice.
