Sparkle is a free festival put on by the charity For Jimmy, set up in honour of murdered teenager Jimmy Mizen. The festival celebrates the work they do in Jimmy’s memory for young people and the community of Lewisham.
Now in its second year at Ladywell Fields, Sparkle takes place outside Ten Thousand Hands cafe. It’s FREE entry throughout the day.

NHS CHOIR
The choir of NHS workers from the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust gained a UK Christmas No.1 with their single Bridge Over You. Fresh off the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage, we are lucky enough to have them performing with us at Sparkle.
LEWISHAM 3 PEAKS
The Lewisham 3 Peaks Challenge is a sponsored walk to celebrate the free green and beautiful spaces we are lucky to have in Lewisham. The after party is being hosted at Sparkle at the end of the route. A map has been provided and t-shirt designed by Martin Rowson (Guardian Satirical Cartoonist and Lewisham Local) to raise money for For Jimmy & The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
There will be loads of bands throughout the day with local food, market stalls and an area for children.
