About 4 weeks ago we had 4 certificates, one for swimming, brownies etc from the 1960s & 1950s left at Crofton Park Library & I would like to re-unite them with the owner or relatives, so wondered if anybody knows the person/s named. I am going to try & upload the photos, but have had trouble uploading them on Nextdoor.
Were they left by mistake, or was it someone thinking that the library would be interested in having that sort of thing? When I worked for local authority archives, we got offered certificates occasionally through library branches.
Yes they were left by mistake. I think they may have been left in with some book donations & they haven’t been discovered until the books are sorted. Seems such a shame if we can’t re-unite them.
