It has been an exciting week for those of us getting to grips with this new community.

How will you be celebrating the end of the week?

I should probably not tell you this, because I like there always being a bottle there for me and it might sell out, but … the Coop on Waldram Park Rd/Stansted Rd is selling this delicious Fiano - a dry white wine with a lovely tropical fruit taste - for £6.99 plus the sell it pre-chilled.

@thirstforwine I’m sure you’re well aware of this app, but for others that like wine it is a MUST. Take a photo of the bottle and the app looks up the wine, tells you all about it - the vineyard, vintage, where you can buy it, and how much it costs, user reviews etc.

For me, it’s relax a little, spoil myself with a portion of chips, and spend some time with the dogs. Catch up on a bit of TV, with a cold Pepsi at best.

Saturday I have some cycling training at the Olympic VeloPark, for my charity ride in July, and Sunday I will be relaxing at the bottom of a lake in Wraysbury.
