A small brown smooth-haired male terrier-type dog, without a collar, started following our (spayed!) bitch in Featherstone Drive (top of Derby Hill Crescent) about an hour ago and came home with us (Radlet Avenue). Would not let us approach him, but we tempted him our back garden while we discussed, over lunch, what to do with him. Unfortunately he seems subsequently to have escaped (probably under our side gate.) Hope he finds his way home, which I guess is not far away.
