Fridge repairs

Our Beko fridge is on the blink. Does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap and cheerful repair rather than buying a new one and adding to the world’s waste mountain!

For another appliance we used Domex. The gave a guaranteed quote for a repair and guaranteed the work. They arrived on time though we could also track their progress towards us on the day.

I’d use them again for white goods like fridges.

Based on starman’s feedback, I called upon Domex for help. We had a problem with a fridge-freezer, for which their engineer was very proficient in diagnosing its fault. Note: While Domex’s website makes a big deal about its “No call-out fee”, their diagnostic fee is essentially the equivalent of a call-out fee.
