Looks like a false widow. Nasty bites so be careful!
Looks like a house spider; they’re huge.
False widow
Definately not a false widow, they are much smaller and shinier (although they are very common in London). I would say house spider as they are very large for UK spiders. Have a look at https://www.uksafari.com/spiders.htm
I recognise him, he’s called Gary.

he is a Giant house spider, Tegenaria gigantea:

Be careful it’s a baby Bird-eating Death Face Spider. Probably came over from the Amazon forest on the wind.
