The Role
Adult Learning Lewisham Music tutor for Supported Learning Department for a Severe Learning Disabilities class Location Wesley Halls Community Centre Downham Way What we’re looking for A confident practical Music Tutor who has experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities and reduced mobility. The 3 eleven week courses run for the whole academic year on a term time basis. The course will be held on Wednesdays 1-3pm. Learners will attend with Support Workers.
Subjects to be delivered: communication, rhythm, self-expression, sharing, following a conductor and more.
Applicants must have teaching experience and be qualified to deliver course subject. The successful applicant must be prepared to work at any of our centres if required and carry out all administrative tasks associated with the post including attendance at tutor meetings and CPD.
Salary details
£28.88 - £30.26 Per hour
