Urgent appeal to find missing elderly man from Forest Hill

John Usen is 76-years-old and is missing from the Forest Hill area in Lewisham.

The picture released by police this morning (Friday, October 18) shows John wearing a dark blue coat and glasses, but it is not clear if this is what police believe he was last wearing when he disappeared.

Lewisham police wrote on their Twitter page: “Missing person from Forest Hill area SE23 John Usen 76-year-old male If sighted please call 101.”

I saw a man fitting this description at around 9:15-9:30 in Honor oak park heading up to Brockley rise…trying to get through on 101 but line is busy

We all hope he is found safely.
If I see him or anyone else…May we approach with care?? and take the Gentleman to a local coffee shop so someone can call for help. I like many just want him to be home safe and sound. If the Gentleman is found and taken home to loved ones that is great news to hear and relief. Thanks for sharing this!!
