Sydenham Common Theatre Show

We’re holding some free workshops to develop a show about Sydenham Common. It’d be lovely to see some of you there.

Details below or at http://www.teatrovivo.co.uk

COMMON

For 200 years the people of Forest Hill and Sydenham fought to keep access to their common land.

In 2020 Teatro Vivo will be creating a promenade show about their struggle and asking what we love enough to fight for today.

We’d like you to be a part of it.

This November we’ll be talking to the people of London about what gets them fired up.

On November 8th we’ll be out on the streets and in the public houses of Forest Hill and Sydenham chatting to people - do come and find us if you’ve a story you want to share (we’ll update our location on Twitter as we go).

Then we’ll be holding two open workshop sessions called “What do you love enough to fight for?” where we will share what we’ve found out, listen to your ideas and play around with them all.

These free sessions will be:

Tuesday 19th November (19:00-21:00)
The Sydenham Centre, 44A Sydenham Rd, London SE26 5QX

Thursday 21st November (18:45-20:45)
Community Room, V22 Louise House, Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill, London, SE23 3HZ

Funded by Lewisham Council
In association with the Forest Hill Society
Created with Bernadette Russell
Open to all, regardless of postcode!
