Anyone hear that big bang last night?

Did anyone else hear what sounded like an explosion last night around 12:30am? I live near the horniman and boy it was loud.

Apparently not! Had you been drinking, perhaps?

I read this post and didn’t think anything of it and then heard a huge bang just before midnight last night!

I’m behind the train tracks on Dacres Rd and think it must have been to do with the rail works.

Just stumbled across this article, and it reminded me of this thread… did it sound anything like that? I don’t know how often jets get scrambled over London
