Incredibly early refuse collections in HOP

Don’t know if I’ve chosen the right category here!

Anyone know who would be best to contact about really noisy rubbish collections happening at 5/6am in Honor Oak Park? It’s commercial waste from the shops and mainly glass it seems - the noise is horrendous and wakes my whole family.

I’ve previously dealt with the Noise & Nuisance dept at Lewisham Council with all the anti-social behaviour issues we’ve had with Mamma Dough Pizza, but they were absolutely useless.

Any benefit in speaking directly to the Refuse Collection dept do we think? Anyone had any contact with them about similar issues before?

Hi MattB, Envirocall is your point of contact at Lewisham but they can be a bit hit and miss. Twitter may be a better avenue for you.

I’ve also asked reached out to the relevant council Twitter accounts via SE23.life’s social accounts - I hope someone from their team will join the forum and get involved in the discussions we have here.
