Hi. Can anyone tell me what this is? It grows in abundance at this time of year almost like a hedge at the bottom of my road and also as a beautiful bush-like tree in my friends garden. It has the most exquisite perfume.

Very good for early flying bees and butterflies also good for the birds such as Blackbirds, Song Thrush and winter visitors such as Redwings and Fieldfares. We have a bit of it in Gartthorne Road Nature Reserve and I have reduced it by 50% to stop it invading and taking over parts of the wood.
