Flights from London City Airport resuming by end of June!

Just seen this article on the Evening Standard website!

This was inevitable. It will be interesting though to see the yields on flights if the two week quarantine is still in effect. And I bet the frequency of flights will be reduced.

I’m surprised they’re planning on resuming flights by the end of June unless they know more than the government has publicly announced! There’s little sign that corporate travel is starting up again which has always been a large part of London City’s business. And traditionally the schedules on the business routes were cut back from mid July to early September anyway which has always been a quiet period for corporate travel.
