South London is quite a broad area. Does this have a connection with SE23?

Yes - Lee lives in SE23 abd his vans are often parked locally.

If anyone sees them, the registration numbers are CN08ZPT and VA10BOJ. Though the livery on the lorries is pretty distinctive anyway.

Thanks!

Thanks. I have shared on the SE23.life social channels.

Great news! Lee has just been told that the lorries have been found on a travellers’ site in Scotland - they were driven thete overnight. 2 people have been arrested.

I live just round the corner from where these are parked, I heard a funny noise which woke me in the night as I thought someone was trying to get into my car. I got up to look lit but couldn’t see anything, I don’t know the time but it was still dark and I think somewhere between 1am and 3am. I can’t offer much more than that, sorry (&realise that may be unconnected!) Hopefully catford Hill police station picked something up on their CCTV. Pleased they have been found. Madness!

Glad the vans have been found!

Hope the awful people that stole them get a meaningful punishment. I’m fed up of seeing itinerant criminals move from town to town while polite society tip toes around them.

As businesses struggle to recover from the pandemic, the police need stand up for their rights, and protect assets from criminal damage and theft.

The name ‘Van Go’, sadly, seems a little ironic now, but glad they have been found (but in Scotland!?!).

The one Mrs T tweets about was stolen from Como Road last night, I’m reasonably sure. Possibly just a coincidence, possibly. That one looks like a works van though, so hopefully has a tracker fitted.

Is this what that place is for? I have never been able to work out it’s purpose/uses

Sadly, the vans were not found.
