Probably won’t claim it. I think it’s illegal to fly in these areas. I think. I recall reading something to that effect on this forum. No doubt someone will correct me if I’m wrong.

It’s a toy drone. Most likely flown by a kid.

So presumably very light and wouldn’t cause injury? Phew.

What is the legal situation? Something to do with weight?

There have been reports of a drone flying over Church Rise and Sunderland Road. Hovering over many a garden. If you think that might be the one would you accidentally step on it as you obviously didn’t see it there on the ground?

Nationally, yeah, weight matters. I think if the drone is 250g or below it doesn’t have to be registered.

Lewisham has a by-law that prohibits all drones, as far as I recall.

Your incoming foot might be transmitted live over Burglars R Us TV

I have some sort of bat signed by some team which is laying around in the kitchen. I could use that.

This website sets out some rules. I think it’s 20kg for registration.

Edit to say: Nope. Sorry @anon5422159. I was wrong. You were right. It is 250. That is REALLY heavy.

Hope this helps.

Seems a bit mean to step on a kids toy.

Did you accidentally multiply Chris’s suggested weight by 1000?

:joy: Oops yes I did. I have form on this, having accidentally bought a HUGE catering size pack of mascapone online. I could barely fit it in the fridge.
