Extinction Rebellion Lewisham tree fund

Because of delays in government tree planting subsidies, there are hundreds of thousands of tree saplings that are going to be destroyed. We in Extinction Rebellion Lewisham want to buy a thousand of them (for just £300!) to distribute in the local community, improving air quality and biodiversity in Lewisham while also helping to stop global warming. Great idea. I would be happy to help out with planting if you can find public space somehow. I really don’t have space in my garden for an oak tree!
