Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Lewisham (Malham Road, SE23)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lewisham Council intend to make this
temporary traffic order under the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because of Thames Water works on and
adjacent to the highway. The effects of the order will be as indicated below.

(1) Road closure in Malham Road between Wastdale Road and the
eastern boundary of No. 72 Malham Road. (2) No parking/waiting in
(i) Malham Road, between the eastern boundary of 87/105 Malham Road
and the eastern boundary of No.72 Malham Road, and (ii) Wastdale Road
between Nos. 7 & 9 and Nos. 33 & 35 Wastdale Road, (iii) Dalmain Road,
north side between the eastern boundary of 62-68 Dalmian Road and the
eastern extent of Dalmain Road, and (iv) Beadnell Road, west side, between
Nos. 47/49 and of Nos. 61/63 Beadnell Road (2) The alternative routes for
traffic affected by the prohibition in article 2(1) shall be via Wastdale Road,
Dalmain Road, Beadnell Road and Malham Road, and vice versa.

Exemption will be provided in the order for vehicles engaged on the
works, vehicles being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes
in an emergency and anything done with the permission or at the direction
of a police officer in uniform.

The order is intended to come into force on the 14th September 2020
to remain in force for up to 3 months.
(Note: works are expected to last for approximately 2 weeks)

The prohibitions will apply as, when and to the extent signed on
the highway.

Not sure the problem - its 2 weeks work on a no-through road with easy alternative routes. Unless you are delivering to Shannons
