Police activity at Horniman this evening

Hi, does anyone know why part of the Horniman gardens were cordoned off this evening with police tape and police on duty?

I dont know, but I heard loads of sirens from upper Kirkdale possibly in the Sydenham Hill/Sydenham Rise direction about 5.30 ish and a helicopter was circling overhead between here (Mount Gardens area) and over the direction of Baxter’s Field and Thorpewood and possibly over to Horniman’s.

There was a lot of police activity on Sydenham Rise this evening, with someone being chased across our driveway, shortly followed by police helicopter overhead. Neighbours have reported that they saw cars stopped further up the hill and arrests being made.
