Yup, that bit isn’t new, the repair or replace offer has been on for ages. HOWEVER. They have added a further option now, which includes collection of your replacement from a store, and get it for £49.
Given the choice of a rapidly trained person repairing something, I am happy to get a replacement, with better spec.
There have been a number of high profile fires involving these units now. Well done London Fire Brigade for pushing the issue.
So if you are still waiting on a repair for yours, check your email and see if you too can get a quick swap and a cut price.
