Is the service any better than is available in East Dulwich?

I’m not looking to change my broadband connection, was just curious as I’ve seen in ED it’s been problematic for few people over the past couple of years.

I’ve recently switched to Virgin (and am still in the period where I could get you £75 off for referring) :joy:

I had relatively slow broadband before (10Mbps/1Mbps) was a good day but it had started to bog down and my Sky box was playing up so felt like a good time to switch now that I spend more time working from home on video calls.

I’m on the 500+Mb service although by the time, it goes through wifi, my various devices are showing anywhere from 150-300Mbps download and 35-40Mbps upload. So I’m pretty happy - my video calls are going well and aren’t being impacted by any other activity happening at the same time. Forest Hill can apparently have their 1Gbps service although I felt that was a little more than I needed in a 1-bed flat!

The TV is a bit more clunky navigation wise but doesn’t really bother me. I’ve hit one odd problem with my Samsung TV/soundbar combination but from investigating, it seems that it also happens on Sky Q so not a VM specific problem. The mobile signal is also more robust than my old 3 one - and a lot faster on 4G (faster than my old broadband) - and with the initial offer, I’m paying quite a bit less than I was before so I’m happy.
