Cleaner Recommendations [2021]

For anyone in the East Dulwich / Forest Hill area looking for a cleaner, I want to highly recommend Polly, 07727042636. She has been cleaning for us for about 8 years in Forest Hill. She does a great job, is very reliable, always texts if there is any issues with her schedule, takes on any feedback, and has a really friendly attitude. Housecleaners are still permitted under the latest lockdown guidance, and she is mindful of keeping a safe distance. She typically comes with her husband Steven to clean 2x as quickly, which is great for us! I’m happy to provide any more details if helpful.

We use these guys. Have done for a few years now. Very pleased. You get the same cleaner regularly and the agency ensure there is cover if they are sick or on hols https://www.friendsservices.uk/

I’d like to add a recommendation for MadNeat - have used them for years and they are exceptional cleaners. Friendly, reliable and the house is spotless every time!

Hi Josh. Hope you don’t mind me asking - realise you posted this over a year ago. Does Polly still clean for you/would you still recommend her?!
Would you be happy to say roughly what you pay per hour if so? (not meaning to sound tight! Want to pay a cleaner fairly…just not had one before and see wildly different rates on agencies etc).

Yes we are still using Polly (and her husband Stephen) - we had several cleaners before her and I think she does a good job, very reliable and friendly - have had her for nearly 8 years now I think. A few things we’ve asked her to do differently and she’s taken it on board. We pay £15 per hour directly to her account. Let me know if you have any other questions!
