Vicious Dog Stillness Road

Hello,

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Last night at 12:30 AM On Stillness Road, I was walking my dog (7kg) and a muzzled German Shepherd attacked him from behind. The owner, white male, mid 30s, tall, lanky, buzz cut, didn’t really try to subdue his dog. In fact he may be new to the area as I’ve only seen him 2 twice and on these 2 occasions, he tries to beat his dog into submission. He may also live on Stillness Road. I’ve reported it to the police and will let the RSPCA know now. Please keep an eye on this person as he clearly has no clue in owning a dog and may be a threat!

My dog on the other hand has lost 2 teeth and may have a 3rd coming out :frowning:

Thanks

Welcome to the forum @Desiree88 and thanks for sharing this. Really sorry to hear about your dog. That sounds like an awful thing to witness.

Wow, that is some shocking stuff. Sorry to hear your dog has been injured.
Really angers me when people don’t keep dogs under control. It’s really not a big ask, or hard to do, and if it is too much of an effort for them, they should not have dogs.

Hope they are identified soon, and that your dog recovers well.

Yeah he didn’t even ask if he was okay. I’ve seen this guy beat his dog
into submission and it obviously doesn’t work. I’ve called the RSPCA, But
they say this is a civic matter.

That annoys me intensely, they have done something wrong, visibly, and make no attempt to make matters right. Disgusting behaviour. Lets hope the police bump into this lovely character soon.

I wonder if it’s him that lets his dog shit on Codrington Hill / Gladiator St and doesn’t clear it up?!

Bloody annoying isn’t it…

He’s a tall lanky guy who has a dark German shepherd with a muzzle on. You can actually hear the guy yelling at his dog before you actually see them. Disgraceful.
