London Overground only operating as far north as Shadwell this weekend

For those needing to travel this weekend London Overground are only operating services from our local stations as far north as Shadwell and v.v. at the reduced level of 4 trains an hour on Saturday but 6 trains an hour on Sunday. Previously when services have terminated at Shadwell we have only had 4 trains an hour on both Saturday and Sunday so I’m a little surprised at the extra services this Sunday. Although both National Rail Enquires and TfL journey planners are showing the same details I would recommend anyone needing to travel on Sunday to double check beforehand!

Saturday
London Overground northbound departures from Forest Hill at 0539, 0547 and 0554 then at 09. 17, 39 and 47 minutes past each hour from 0609 to 2347

Sunday
London Overground northbound departures from Forest Hill at 0648, 0708, 0718, 0728, 0743 and 0802 then at 08 18, 28, 38, 48 and 58 minutes past each hour from 0808 to 1148 then 1157 then 07, 17, 27, 37, 47 and 57 minutes past each hour from 1307 to 2257 then 2317 and 2343

Southbound London Overground services will call at all usual stations to either Crystal Palace or West Croydon.

Southern are operating to and from London Bridge to the normal Saturday/Sunday timetable

At least they’re running but the reduction in Southern services is proving pretty grim with the Canada water interchange almost as chaotic as pre pandemic at around 8am.
