Van hire

I will need to hire a small van in the next week or so - Renault Kangoo size would be sufficient, slightly bigger might be better, but I don’t need a Luton or anything!

Is there a local (well reasonably local) company anyone has used for van / car hire they would recommend?

I’ve used Zipvan in the past. Handy if you only need one for a few hours or you can book a whole day.

Thanks - I tried to sign up earlier but it keeps telling me there are no cars within 50 miles, which is odd I used to see at least one each day on my way to work (pre-lockdown) unless they have all moved now, not sure.

There is an enterprise in Sydenham also I can try.

The vans are more likely to be booked out in advance, the nearest one to Forest Hill is unavailable on Monday between 11-14h.

Ace Van always looked competitive for prices, though I’ve never used them.

Thanks so much @Nivag - will try and get Zipcar working tomorrow (it is sitll telling me nothing within 50 miles!) - will have a look at Ace also - at this rate I may just end up with Enterprise in Sydenham though!
