Short Eats - Sri Lankan inspired meals to your door!

Hello and a very happy, sunny Monday to you all,

Short Eats is now delivering around South East London! We are a family-run business, serving up delicious curries inspired by Sri Lanka with a twist of the Caribbean! We run a weekly delivery of our set menu, delivered by bicycle/electric vehicles in recyclable packaging. All you have to do is warm up and eat, eat, eat!

We’ve built up a loyal customer base around London (the Short Eats family!) and have been featured in the Metro and GQ. I’m Melissa, the founder of this business, and am lucky enough to have been born and brought up in Forest Hill and Catford. I’m super proud to now be bringing our meals to my roots!

All meals are Vegan-friendly and dairy-free.

We recently added our infamous Summer Picnic Hamper to the menu to celebrate the improving weather and easing lockdown!

These are great for a picnic feast with loved ones. We can even deliver direct to a park near you

Thanks so much for pointing this out and sincere apologies for the inconvenience! It seems we have a bit of a tech glitch with our delivery radius cutting off around the south circular. We’re getting this looked into ASAP!

In the meantime, here’s a workaround:

1. Use SE23 1JG as the postcode (our friends at the wonderful Sans Store!).
2. Make your order and simply leave your actual delivery address in the comments when you complete the order.

Apologies once again for the inconvenience. We’ll get this fixed ASAP. In the meantime we can’t wait to welcome you to the Short Eats family!
