Pie oh my…Proud Sow

Tried the new pies from the Proud Sow’s new venture yesterday. Beef and ale, and lamb and harissa. Lots of other options including veggie.

They are very, very good.

Funny story about beef and ale pie when I was still living at home, I worked in a pub and they gave me a large pie to take home. Upon serving my brother said what’s pie was it to our mum. I replied beef & ale. My brother shouted I not eating that & pushed his plate away in disgust and ranted how terrible it was. He thought I said beef & owl pie.
