Bushy Blind Spotted Corner

Any idea who’s responsibility it is to ensure clear walk way at end of Honor Oak Park near lights meets Stondon Park it’s is?

It is dangerous some cars can’t see lights go green mind you they also seem distracted briefly at times the old beep but it is a safety hazard.
Walking past the other day got a tad busy with people bikes buggies etc. It sure is a tight squeeze!! And I nearly got hit by a lorry the fear of how vulnerable and small I felt. This was not a situation I decided to be in either who would want to be. Scary and yes quite inconsiderate really.
Please People keep safe best you can and hopefully this gets trimmed back soon for all. Enjoy stay safe goodnight xx

Agree that corner has some visibility issues, especially when the tree / bushes are not trimmed. Since they are on private land it’s the owner who should maintain them, but I think that the Council can also trim them and possibly charge the cost to the land owner.

As @AllChefSki has already pointed out above it’s the responsibility of whoever owns the land where the trees, bushes or hedges are to ensure that any vegetation isn’t blocking a public footpath.

However it appears you can report it to the council on their website, who I suspect will contact the landowner and point out their obligation to keep the pavement clear!

Finally…Job done could of been cut back a bit more. Maybe it will be….Highways are the people who deal with this matter. Though I did see people who I think live there a few days later chopping and snipping this. It’s better to what it was so Thank you!!
