Silver medal (and now Gold!) for Alex Yee - Stillness school alumnus

Alex Yee, who won silver in the Olympic triathlon earlier today, grew up around here and used to go to Stillness school.

I watched it last night but didn’t realise he was from Lewisham til they said it on the commentary, and definitely didn’t know he went to Stillness!

Great stuff! Love a local / global story like this.

Watched it live last night as well. Was rooting for the French but ended up rooting for Alex! The craziest part is that he was casually giving out an interview 5 mins after arriving, while the Norwegian winner was gasping for air.
