One tree hill allotments open day

Last week’s postponed Open Day will definitely - whatever the weather - take place this Sunday August 15th. The details are below.
One Tree Hill Allotments Open Day

When: Sunday August 15th - 12.30-6.00

Where: One Tree Hill Allotments just up the hill from Honor Oak Station.

A map of the site will be available when you come in.

  1. Art Trail (map available to pick up): from 12.30

  2. Tea & cakes, jams etc stall: from 12.30

  3. BBQ (meat/vegetarian): from 1pm

  4. Kids’s trail (sheets available to pick up): all day

  5. Nature scavenger hunts for families (children accompanied) in the AFRIL plot: 1pm - 5pm

  6. Site Walks: 1.30 & 2.30 - from the paved area

  7. Green Woodworking Demonstration : 2-4 pm - Paul plot 44

  8. The Note-Orious Community Choir in the paved area: 2.30-3pm (TBC)

  9. Mini beast and bug hunting in the AFRIL plot 3pm - 5.00pm

  10. Pizza Area open for cider (and perhaps pizza): from 3.30pm

  11. Jamie Souter on guitar in Pizza Area: 4-4.30

So glad you enjoyed the afternoon and the weather held out for us too. So happy to be able to share the wonderful space that is OTHAS. Look out for the apple pressing in the autumn.
