That’s it really! I want to turn a patch of garden into a soft fruit bed and need to suppress the lawn. Any ideas?

There always seems to be a stack of free Metros left at forest hill station every evening (Perry vale side).

I think Sainsbury’s in London Rd still get the free copies of the Evening Standard Monday - Friday too.

Would you not use cardboard instead? The normal brown one, not the shiny type. I think it’s what is most commonly used in no dig where the ground is covered in cardboard (wet cardboard) and a layer of compost added on top, which you can plant into almost straight away.

Thanks everyone!
@oakr I don’t know why this didn’t occur to me! I have loads of cardboard knocking around, really helpful, thanks.
