WARNING - SHOCKING CONTENT: Catford man sparks outrage with videos on Facebook showing sick thugs kicking cats and sending them flying

Really nasty example of a human being, and the idiot filming too.

In the first video, a young man is seen to be seemingly affectionately petting a cat on the street.

But then he suddenly kicks the feline with such force that it flies out of sight behind a nearby parked car.

I saw this report on Twitter and opted not to view the video. Nasty.

Ditto. A matter for the police. Sadly, those that recorded the video will relish the attention it’s getting on social media.

And their friends will think it’s very “gangsta” of them. Well done.

The Croydon Cat Killer. Cats under attack. Has anyone seen fluffly? She hasn’t been home for a week.

And yet people adversely judge me for keeping my cats indoors, or at least until I can create a safe space for them outside. Frankly in this urban environment I think people who allow their cats to roam are negligent. Would you allow your child to roam the streets in the wee hours?

One of those videos was the middle of the day. These idiots are too cowardly to go after people.

Are they? I can’t bring myself to watch. But I wasn’t suggesting they would go after people. To me our pets are a major part of the family, and should be protected like any other family member.

It’s the same sort of mindless thugs who killed a man with a machete when trying to steal his scooter yesterday.

No but I wouldn’t send my cat to school or make it wear clothes in public and that’s because cats are not humans, they are different to us.
My cats would go mental if I didn’t let them out - they are outdoor creatures, one was a farm/stables cat and the other two rescue ones. I’ve had cats for around 30 years and they all have come and gone as they please and no real harm has ever come to them. If that’s me being negligent then fair enough but Battersea don’t share your opinion.

I find this utterly heartbreaking; despicable and vile. Why these people see this as entertainment I just do not know.

I’m a member of some cat forums and the most controversial topic is always the indoor/outdoor cats debate. I think it’s personal choice/circumstances and I choose to keep mine indoors, and he always has been. If I ever move to the wilds of Northumberland he’ll go out, but for now, for us, it’s in.

And I’ve had two killed through malicious acts in central London.

Well keep yours indoors as you do but I wont call you unkind or negligent for doing so.
