Dulwich Expansion

Since being sold to new management in July, what was Grace’s Day Nursery on Perry Hill has rebranded to ‘The Dulwich Day Nursery & Pre-school’, entering the race to push the boundaries of Dulwich all the way to SE6:

I think there should be some sort of prize for the furthest place from Dulwich which uses it’s name. This one is a strong contender at 1.96km from the boundary of Dulwich, as the crow flies and determined by Google Maps - can anyone beat it? :upside_down_face:

I think locals must be offended that the cachet of the Perry Village is less compelling than a village miles away after being offended years ago that the City Walk flats went up which are a 7 mile walk to the City.

I wondered if it was a new branch of an existing nursery already operating in Dulwich, but no, the overarching company name is non-location specific. I wonder if their nurseries in “Clapham”, “Hammersmith”, “Roehampton” are similarly geographically-exaggerated?

That’s in Dulwich Australia, named after the Dulwich we know more locally. From Dulwich, South Australia - Wikipedia

Looks like it is just a feeder school for Dulwich College…

We focus on forming a strong attachment with children and provide home visits before they start at Dulwich
