Southern weekday timetable from Monday 28nd February - Friday 13th May 2022!

As mentioned on the Southern Railways weekday timetable from Monday 21st - Friday 25th February topic Southern are revising their weekday timetable yet again with effect from Monday 28th February until supposedly Friday 13th May.

The details are as follows:

Forest Hill to London Bridge (3 minutes later from Honor Oak Park)
First service at 0535 (0537 from HOP)
Then at 13 & 43 minutes past each hour from 0613 to 2313 with 2 additional services at 0828 & 0858

London Bridge to Forest Hill
First service at 0534
Then at 10 & 40 past each hour from 0610 to 2240
Then 2258, 2310, 2328, 2340, 2358 and 0035

Forest Hill to East Croydon (3 minutes earlier from Honor Oak Park)
First service at 0548
Then at 26 & 56 past each hour from 0626 to 2356 then 0049

East Croydon to Forest Hill
First service at 0520
Then at 27 & 57 past each hour from 0727 to 2257 then 2331

Forest Hill to Victoria (3 minutes earlier from Honor Oak Park)
Only direct service at 2312
Connections via East Croydon available from 0626 (journey time 39 minutes)

Victoria to Forest Hill
Only direct services at 0750 and 0820
Connections via East Croydon available from 0706 to 2235 (journey time 37-38 minutes)

I’d recommended checking live departure apps before travelling though in case of any late notice changes or cancellations!

I feel priveleged to have been on today’s 0843 Southern Loop service from Forest Hill to London Bridge. I took a picture of it arriving into Forest Hill station, and then an onboard selfie. I just wanted to create a memory of a once great service before it disappears.

I’m sorry to burst your bubble @starman but the 0843 is the East Croydon - London Bridge stopping service not the Victoria - London Bridge loop line The loop line services are the departures from Forest Hill at 28 and 58 minutes past but the 0828 and 0858 should still be running from Monday - they are the only 2 loop line services that will be (as per the original post above).

I managed to catch the 18.28 home tonight…honestly the difference to my sense of wellbeing by changing trains at London Bridge rather than canada water and being able to sit down and unwind enroute is priceless!

Make the most of it @maxrocks as it seems likely that after tomorrow it’ll be at least May before we get more than 2 trains an hour on weekday evenings!

So So frustrating to hear this!
As if next weeks tube strikes weren’t bad enough news for us ‘unable to WFH’ folk
