Ideas welcome, sweet and calm cats requiring a temporary home

Hello, thought this forum may be able to help.

My husband has accepted a job offer abroad, to start mid June. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the direct air transit for pets has not opened again as yet. It may be up to six months for our specific destination.

Very upsetting, as we have two wonderful cats that we adore (mother and daughter). So we are hoping to find temporary foster care in a cat loving home for them locally for 3-6 months. I have called a local cattery but no availability in August and the rooms are very small - we would rather they were looked after in a pet loving home.

Any cat lovers in the area who could provide a foster home for them please get in touch. Or any ideas welcome.

Hi, just wanted to reach out as we travel quite a lot with our cat to Portugal. Is your final destination in Europe? if it is it’s likely you can take them with you on the cabin of the plane if you would like to do so.

I do know someone is fosters cats, from abroad & from Celia Hammond, I could ask her for you.

I have asked the woman I know, she can’t help as she fosters a lot from abroad, but she is going to ask around, so if I hear anything else I will let you know ASAP.
