Hi everyone,
A good friend of mine (and fellow Lewisham borough resident) has Muscular Dystrophy and is a regular user of the Ability Gym in Bow. It’s a really vital service for him and he goes all the time, despite needing to get up to Bow in a wheelchair, which isn’t ideal. It’s the only specialist disability gym in London, but due to funding cuts it’s being closed down. He’s trying to do what he can to petition the mayor and local council to intervene. I was hoping that my fellow Forest Hill residents could help out by signing the below petition and spreading the word about this terrible decision, as it will affect Londoners with disabilities enormously.
Many thanks in advance!
