Want your object to be put on display at the Horniman Museum and Gardens?

At the Horniman, we are undergoing a redisplaying our anthropology collection. Our new World Gallery is due to open 2018.

One section of the gallery displays baskets from all around the world and we are looking to acquire a Moses basket, ideally from someone living in the local area. We would love a basket that had been passed through a few families, or even generations, or that has an interesting story attached. The basket would be put on permanent display in the gallery.
