Free events around Forest Hill for World Philosophy Day

11 Nov '16

Follow our philosophy trail around Forest Hill to win prizes from local shops and bars, and join us on World Philosophy Day (Thursday 17th November) for philosophical conversations at the Library. There are two sessions, one for adults from 7-9pm and one for families / children from 4-6pm.

Book tickets here: World Philosophy Day

We will be exploring the concept of community, inspired by the new community library and by the children of schools in Forest Hill who have come up with questions like: Can you be in a community by yourself? Are animals and people in the same community? Does community really matter? Are you still a part of a community if you leave it?

My personal fav, from a Y2 class at Eliot Bank “Everyone in the world has a head. Does that mean everyone in the world is in the same community?”

Get philosophical this November!

(Best day for doing the trail is Saturday as that is when the shops are bars are all open!)
