Reaching ‘local’ status

The other day I reached the station and wondered you to the coffee stall where I was greeted with “the usual?” Having often heard other people get asked team same question and always ordering the same coffee I waited patiently for my turn.

It happened made my day - I’m a freelancer so not always travelling to work. But that question really cemented my love for Forest Hill and it’s sense of community.

Now I just need to get verified on this forum

Will probably try to pop by tomorrow! I have a meeting regarding GETset in Hackney Wick then will cycle home and call by. Probably buy some sweets for the fiancé too.

Yes it does make you feel good. That’s why I love shopping locally - Finches, Shannons, Proud Sow, Crafty Beer etc - all helps to make you feel part of something and brings a little warmth to the heart!
