And when we add in the road closures, sink holes and postal strikes (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-38131257), I’m considering subsistence farming a la the Good Life this year for the festive season.

We are moving to Norfolk, enjoy the rubbish trains, sink holes and assorted London issues. :grinning:

We are indeed, well once our house is sold and the other bought. Luckily I work from home so it’s the good life for me  Plus, we will be 20 minutes from Norwich and their trains are OK.

It got to the point that with the two of us and two growing girls in a two bed flat that it was time to move. Given we could potentially buy two four bed houses in Norfolk for the price of our flat it is a no brainer. Plus youngest daughters primary school has 80 pupils (OFSTED Excellent) as well as older daughter’s school having only 300 pupils it makes sense. Plus (and this is my main reason there is a double garage with a workshop and an inspection pit for the car) Shhh, dont tell the other half

I will most certainly be having a send off, quite a few :sunglasses:

Given the result on June 23rd in Norfolk you are unlikely to have too many Guardian readers on community boards, unless you’re moving to Norwich.

@starman Quite surprised by that given the amount of artists and luvvies up there but I guess being an artist and luvvie does not pre qualify you for Guardian readership. I shall continue to read it though. :grinning:

Still have to sell Chris. If we dont then we extend. Win/Win from my point of view.
