Power cut in HOP

Our power’s just gone in HOP, near the station. It looks like the whole street is in darkness and someone’s burglar alarm is going mad! Anyone else?

We had one this morning and two in the week. Obviously connected but don’t know how. Usually took at least an hour to fix.

I’ve just reported it. Apparently it’s a widespread issue and an engineer is on the way to the Grierson Road sub-station. The operator said it could take three hours to fix. Luckily we have a lot of candles.

On wyleu street. Just reported as well and got a response just now should be fixed between 1030/1130 they say.

Update at 21:25 - Engineers have arrived on site in the Greirson Road area. Using an average timescale for this type of issue, we’re looking to have you back on between 22:30 and 23:30. You may be worried at this time about the food in your fridge/freezer. Food should keep for between 5-7 hours in the fridge and about 15 hours in the freezer if you avoid frequent opening. Has anyone else had flickering lights? This has happened to us a few times over the last couple of days but I wasn’t sure if it’s a problem in our house, or linked to the power cut.
