Friends of Baxter Field has very exciting news to share!
Baxter Field park (located between Kirkdale and Thorpewood Avenue) has been shortlisted in the Tesco Bags of Help initiative.
You can vote in local Tesco stores across SE London and we will receive the £5,000, £2,000 or £1,000 depending on how many votes we get.
The money awarded will go towards creating a tree-lined wildlife trail for local children, the installation of a community noticeboard at the entrance of Baxter Field, as well as picnic benches built in partnership with the local charity, Men in Sheds.
Voting runs until 25 February, so please show your support for Baxter Field and get voting in your local Tesco!
