I’m on Waldenshaw Road and the gas keeps cutting in and out. It’s both the boiler and the hob. Comes and goes. Of course the EOn website’s handy dandy contact list doesn’t have a number for ‘this is not an emergency but my gas isn’t working’ so I’m not even sure who to call. I will wait till 8am when their ‘live chat’ comes online.
All ok here in Cranston Road.

Hmm, weird. Seemed to be back up to pressure by 8am, Thanks anyway. I’ll see if the boiler’s still on when I get home!
Just turned the cooker gas on, all fine.
OK - everyone relax, we had a faulty governor valve on the gas meter. The ‘emergency’ gas line (there is no one else to call) decided it best to send someone over and they arrived within 20 mins to fix it - magic!
