Hello everyone,
I’m posting on behalf of the Ladywell Supporters - we are family and friends of the Ladywell Gymnastics Club in Bellingham - and we help support the girls get to various national and international women’s artistic competitions.
The club has provided gymnastics classed for children for many, many years and serves the local community, especially the Lewisham borough.
In April a group of eleven gymnasts from the club have been invited to compete in the Dubai International Gymnastics Competition. The majority of these girls are local to Sydenham, Honor Oak, Forest Hill, Ladywell, Brockley and Hither Green.
This is an incredible opportunity to compete against gymnasts from around the world. The girls - alongside their dedicated coaches - training for over 18 hours a week to perfect their routines and work towards their goal.
We are raising money to help the team get to Dubai, which involves travel, accommodation and competition costs and any support from the local community would be gratefully received. You can find our Crowdfunder page here:
