Fatal collision outside catford town hall - 05 May 2017

A fatal incident outside the town hall today at roughly 14:00. A HGV unfortunately collided with a male pedestrian. Police have taped off the area.

Any news if the male pedestrian is okay, really hope so.

Well fatal usually means death so…

This is really sad, I wish anyone involved in anyway best wishes & sorry for anyone’s loss.

Very sad news. As a driver this is your worst fear. My thoughts are with the family and all involved.

This is a busy area for pedestrians, this is the issue with the south circular going through busy shopping areas.
