It must have been a real worry to you with the property being sold and a having to deal with a new landlord.

But now, with your new lease, you must be relieved to have secured a future for you and the business for many more good years.

On a side note - I think it’s so unfair that the banks don’t offer accessible mortgages to small business owners like you because this would have been a fantastic and deserved opportunity to take things a step further and to then be able to plan beyond your working life and use the property as an asset to provide you with a decent pension.
