Hatmaking - felt and cut & sewn soft hats for a man or woman

On this 8 week course you will learn how to create popular soft and felt hat shapes of your choice using traditional millinery materials and methods - these may include a cloche, trilby, 70’s style wide brim, soft cap or beret. You will be shown how to use a pattern and a sewing machine to construct your soft hat, how to block & shape your felt base, and how to use specialist fabrics, resources and equipment.
