If only I had a spare £1.25m lying around…
Feels to me like £1.25M for a house plus an income of £71K (possibly for the long term) is actually a really good deal.
I haven’t calculated it, but the net present value of £71K/year in perpetuity would be well over a million, I think?
Well, 10% is £125k a year so 71k is over 5% which isn’t bad. So you only need a £300k deposit and a %4 mortgage and you’re sorted
