Free cycle training in Lewisham

I’d like to thoroughly recommend cycle training to anyone who plans on riding in London

I did it through Southwark several years ago. I could ride a bike but wanted to commute to work and freaked myself out when I tried a route one weekend. I couldn’t imagine ever doing it at rush hour. They found a time that suited, showed me good road positioning and even helped me find a better route to work that still forms part of my base route many years later. One of the best uses of my time ever.

I did this today - and thoroughly glad I did.

Even as a relatively seasoned commuter I still had a few things to learn, and having someone with you who can evaluate your general road craft and advise on how adapt you style in various situations to make things safer was fantastic (it’s all about commanding your lane).

It’s certainly given me a few things to think about for my next ride into work next week. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
