Went to Babur today for the first time despite living in Honor Oak Park for years. We went for the fathers day buffet lunch and it was delicious! £20 for as much as we could eat (they served it to the table so not a standard buffet). I understand usually it’s £16. Very good with the kids and a lovely mojito to boot. I went because they kindly donated a prize for our raffle and I thought I should try it out. Very much recommended!
I believe the normal buffet at Babur on Sundays is free for under eights.
We use to eat at Babur fairly often, but we now often order for collection from the ‘A La Carte’ menu as eating out in the evenings is difficult with young children. We typically find this better than ordering from the Take Away Babur nearer Crofton Park.
Babur has to be one of the best Indian restaurants in London, amazing food and service.
And just over the road you’ve got The Honor Oak; two of my fave SE23 haunts.
I have £60 on my Babur loyalty card which if you calculate it, means 1 takeaway every 3 weeks since we moved to the area. Love Babur but was disappointed when they stopped the coconut lamb dish.
I like their extra-curricular activities!
